Santo Domingo.- An international survey by the International Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery reveals that breast procedures are becoming more frequent and that Brazil leads the countries in which plastic surgeries are performed the most, followed by the United States.
Dr. Dirk Richter, president of the entity that conducted the survey, commented that “it is exciting to see how fast the market is changing in the world. More and more minimally invasive treatments are being performed, as the figures show”.
However, he expressly warns against filler treatments performed by non-physicians or untrained physicians because an increase in complications has been observed worldwide.
