Not all garbage is the same “Garbage” is a term we often use in our everyday language, always applied to something without value or disposable. Not everything that goes to the trash is garbage, we must learn to differentiate when discarding, the different materials in order to reuse them:Do not forget that batteries are very toxic and you must take them to the right place to throw them away.
The environmental issue currently has very important implications for society and, as a consequence, for education. We only have to read the newspapers, watch television or, more easily, look around us. An example of this is climate change. Faced with this situation we must seek solutions to stop the deterioration of the territory and the resources of our planet, and one of the possibilities is recycling, and as I am going to be a teacher, we will work on recycling at school.
Objects that can be recycled in the community
The above is delivered to the garbage collection service. The 3 R’s of ecology are: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle promotes 3 basic steps to reduce waste production and thereby contribute to the protection and conservation of the environment.
Schools often produce enormous amounts of waste with teaching materials, used electronics and food. One estimate is that 24% of school waste is recyclable paper and 50% is food waste and non-recyclable paper that can be composted. But teachers and students can work collaboratively to reduce the amount of waste produced.
First, administrators, faculty and students need to work together in recycling teams to decide how the school will move forward with its recycling program. Students can participate in analyzing the types and amounts of waste the school produces. Sorting and recording what is being thrown away is an important first step in determining what the school is throwing away.

Recycling is one of the best things you can do to preserve the health of the planet. By doing so, you reduce the amount of waste, which reduces pollution and prevents more resources from being extracted from nature, since you will put them back into circulation. You also reduce the amount of energy consumed in the manufacturing process. The first thing you should do is sort the waste and things you no longer use in your home into separate containers for that purpose and then determine what you will do with them.
Recycling glass saves a lot of raw materials and energy, which is very good for the environment. You can collect the glass containers you have at home and take them to the appropriate recycling container. This recycled material will then be used to make flooring and decorative surfaces. In some countries, it is even used as a material in road construction. If you wish, you can keep some containers in your home to use as canning jars and some bottles, which you can use as decorations if you fill them with colored sand or attach fabric or other decorative material.
Things that can be reused in the house
A recyclable material is one that can be used again after its main use, with which it is possible to create new materials to transform them by giving them a new use. Although they can also be reused for the same function they had in the beginning, for example, aluminum cans, paper or glass.
The recycling process starts with a selection between those materials that can have another opportunity of use and those that are waste, after being deposited in the corresponding containers. At home we can place several containers, one for organic waste and others for materials that can be reused.
