Outside of the breeding season you can’t remove them either. But if as you say they are inside the shutter drum, what you can do is wait for the swallows to leave and remove the nest, and close the hole, but please do not remove it if you can.
The best way to reduce the environmental impacts of waste is, first and foremost, to prevent it. Much of what we throw away could be reused, and other things can be recycled into raw materials. How to reduce food waste:How to reduce paper and cardboard waste:How to reduce electronic and electrical waste:How to reduce cleaning waste:How to reduce battery waste:
One of the objectives of COP21 is to keep warming below the 2°C limit with respect to pre-industrial levels (around 1850.)The future international agreement will have to deal, first and foremost and in a balanced way, with mitigation, i.e. the efforts made to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and with the adaptation of societies to the changes already taking place in the climate. Prior to COP21, each country must publish its national contribution, in which it will give an account of the efforts it has undertaken to make. Another objective is to mobilize $100 billion per year (about 78 million euros) from States, international organizations and the private sector from 2020 onwards.

Plastics overwhelm the planet, by land, sea and air. 80% of the waste found in the oceans is plastic waste. This is according to a new global study that puts figures on the composition of marine litter. Plastic is by far the dominant material in the oceans, followed by metal (7%), glass (5%) and fabric (3%) and others, such as rubber, paper, and processed wood. The problem is well diagnosed. The bulk of the pollution is caused by single-use bags, bottles, food containers and food packaging.
These are data from a study published in Nature Sustainability, which provides the first integrated global diagnosis of the origin and composition of the garbage dumped in the ocean. Collaboration between institutions and NGOs from 10 countries has made it possible to compile data, homogeneously process scattered reports and identify the products with the greatest presence in the seven major marine ecosystems. This information is essential for prevention policies.
Recycling is not enough
Unfortunately, the misnamed “recycling” of plastics doesn’t work (learn more) and the misnamed “green plastics” can create as many problems as they solve (learn more). Neither is a sustainable solution.
Beach and ocean cleanups are mere stopgaps, with negligible impact given the magnitude of the problem. However, they are good ways to educate and clean up our environment temporarily – but they do not address the root of the problem.
Moving towards a world free of plastics and their toxic effects requires determination, becoming a citizen activist, and learning to reduce your personal plastic footprint as much as possible.
-Ask your governments to ban or unintentionally ban disposable plastics, such as bags, bottles, straws, etc. Cities and regions such as San Francisco and Melbourne have done so, as have countries such as Ireland and Denmark. (map)
Although collective solutions are gaining ground around the world, it is best to act simultaneously on an individual basis. The aggregate impact of our individual decisions is key to driving collective change.

The ban on smoking in cars is back on the table… once again. This eternal debate could soon be settled if the new Comprehensive Plan against Smoking, whose draft has just been finalized by the Ministry of Health, is approved.
And although it is not expressly prohibited by law, we can be fined for it if an agent considers that it is a direct cause of a mishap or accident. Not surprisingly, it can violate some of the precepts of the General Traffic Regulations, such as, for example, wearing inappropriate clothing at the wheel.
This text has already been sent to scientific and medical societies, but also to the Autonomous Communities, so that, before December 15, they can submit their contributions. The goal of the Ministry presided by Carolina Darias is to have it approved as soon as possible.
In the case of smoking in the car, this prohibition has been raised on many occasions and in fact there are countries that have already banned it by law, although only in the case of minors or pregnant women on board, as is the case of the United Kingdom or France, but also of Australia, South Africa, Cyprus and some regions and states of Canada and the USA.
