Transparent compostable bags

In order for the paper to be recycled, the cellophane must be removed from the “window” by hand. This is a time-consuming job if it has to be done on a large number of envelopes!  If you manually remove the cellophane from the envelope at home, you can separate the paper from the recyclables.

Needless to say, it is highly advisable to contact the different service companies that send you documentation with these envelopes, and ask them about the possibility of adhering to electronic or digital alternatives!

Recyclable and non-recyclable materials

The difference between organic packaging and conventional packaging begins with the raw materials used in their manufacture, which do not increase greenhouse gas emissions or have a negative impact on the environment.

Organic packaging is made from materials derived from vegetable compounds obtained from corn starch, for example, and has characteristics that allow it to be used in direct contact with food.

Thanks to the use of this type of packaging, waste is prevented from spending long periods of time in landfills because, due to their nature, they end up decomposing in a natural way without contaminating.

Bioplastic packaging: This type of plastic lasts longer than petroleum-derived plastics, and its manufacture also reduces the use of fossil fuels, reducing the use of petroleum and therefore producing a decarbonization and reducing the environmental impact.

Non-recyclable materials

Most people often wonder where to recycle some of their waste such as batteries, furniture, cardboard or what is the purpose of having several garbage bags at home. In the following report we will try to answer some of these frequently asked questions when it comes to recycling a product.

First of all, it is important to know that in order to recycle it is necessary to separate packaging and waste, the more the better, so that everything can be used and each material can be reused in something specific.

There are other wastes that, due to their characteristics, should be recycled in the clean points, which are spaces provided with containers where domestic wastes that should not be mixed with the rest should be transferred. These include, among others:

Batteries, accumulators and batteries should be deposited in special containers. Some of them have hazardous elements in their composition, so they must be treated specifically to avoid environmental contamination and health hazards:
