It’s worth watching Doctor Who.
There was nothing wrong with it. I thought Patrick [Ness] did a great job; he explored an amazing world. In honesty, it didn’t really fit with us at BBC3. Some series don’t and I have to make decisions about what we’re going to do from a dramatic point of view.

Doctor Who Seasons Summary
My relationship with my three immediate superiors – the showrunner, the producer and the co-producer – broke down irreparably during the first phase of filming and never recovered. They lost confidence in me and I lost faith, trust and belief in them.
What shocks me the most is the final warning to Davies, as in the interview he went so far as to clarify that he would never work with him again. It is true that he also left the series after Tennant’s departure, but something very serious must have happened there for Eccleston to have distanced himself so much from ‘Doctor Who’ as to not participate in it again in any way, as he himself recently commented that the BBC tried to end his career after he left the series…

Is it true that the Daleks have to appear in every season of Doctor Who?Rebel Jedi There is a very persistent rumor that the Daleks must appear at least once every season of revived Doctor Who due to an agreement with the estate of Terry Nation , the writer who created the Daleks. Apparently, if they don’t appear, the BBC loses the rights to them. I have done some research but have been unable to find anything to confirm the rumor or prove it wrong. Can anyone provide evidence to prove or disprove this rumor? Forge of Thunder The BBC won a court case in 2008 when they published books about Daleks without the nation’s permission. The original series was produced at the BBC Television Centre in London and ceased production in 1989. A movie was subsequently filmed in 1996 and produced in Canada with the aim of relaunching the series with capital from BBC and Universal, but the low ratings it received in the United States did not lead to the production of a new series. Finally, the modern series would see the light of day on March 26, 2005, with production by BBC Wales and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) and Cardiff as the main filming location.
It has been suggested that the broadcast of the first episode was delayed by ten minutes due to extended news coverage of the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy, which occurred the previous day; while in fact, it was only eighty seconds late. [24] Because it is believed that coverage of the events of the assassination, as well as a series of blackouts across the country, may have caused too many viewers to miss this introduction to a new series, the BBC rebroadcast the first episode on November 30, 1963, prior to the broadcast of the second episode.[25][26][25][26
