Examples of sustainable development at school
A Sustainable School, a project that seeks to promote and implement a school model whose heart is a self-sustainable building that minimizes operating costs and facilitates meaningful learning about innovation and sustainability for the entire community. The project is articulated with the company Earthship Biotecture, which provides the construction method.
Tagma is a non-profit organization, made up of technicians and professionals who work with the mission of building and inhabiting the world in more sustainable ways, in a logic of exchange with nature that translates into a better quality of life.
In August 2017 the declaration of interest by the Municipality of Mar Chiquita is signed, also ensuring the support of the Municipality through the session of a land where the building will be built, and support with construction materials, machinery, logistics, accommodation and food (attached document).

When we build, we involve different actors (government, companies, organizations, communities, etc.), when we work with the community or in the educational field we also do it and from the point of view of financing we also seek to have plural, diverse and complementary sources that ensure transparency and a certain independence necessary for the proper functioning of such a large undertaking.
Objectives of education for sustainable development
It is important to take into account project work, experience and experientiality (to be promoted in order to advance innovation, as the Rocard Report reminds us), transversality (to plan medium and long-term objectives), multidisciplinarity (a shared interpretation is essential to make sustainable decisions), the application of knowledge (to solve problems and satisfy needs), cooperation (cooperating means assuming personal and collective responsibility, listening to others, self-regulation, empathy, joint evaluation, empowerment of the learning situation) and productive thinking (which enables one to recognize, imagine and narrate complex interactions).
The environment is another feature that cannot be forgotten in the search for the best education for sustainable development. The interactions between the components of an organization create its environment: therefore, each school generates its own educational environment. The school climate is fundamental to this: mutual respect, recognition and appreciation for the work of others, students and teachers, improve school results. The environment is an open window for learning.
